Often people have brochures that haven't been updated for years. This is a big problem because this brochure represents the face and brand of your company. Companies often change with time. With this in mind, your brochure must reflect the changing structure of your company. So try to always update the brochure by updating it every year. Below are a few tips for keeping your brochure up-to-date while staying abreast of your current marketing initiatives.


Sales Number - See your current sales data and what value is reflected by your brand. Is this a good year or a bad year? If it's a good year, you should include this in your marketing copy. Maybe add something that shows the growth of your business for a quarter or a year - which is always better. This will help build trust and show that your business is booming. If it's a bad year, don't say that. Instead, talk about what you have learned in the past year and how you want to build lessons that have been taught in the past to you. This will help you get relevance and show what you know about your area.


Design - did you just change the logo? Then change your marketing collateral. Alternatively, maybe your company has recently changed its culture - organically. Show this in your top coffee shop brochure design. You may have grown from a small mom and a pop shop into a child who grew up in three different industries. Make sure this is listed in your brochure. By demonstrating the expansion of your business and creating designs through a national presence, your customers know what your brand is experiencing and can connect more effectively with what you see as an industry.

Copy - Update the copy! Make sure your copy reflects time. Rest assured that your copy does not currently use terminology that reflects a specific moment. If this type of verbosity is used, update it with a newer dictionary or make it timelier. With a lasting copy, you can recycle content on a larger scale. However, with your current copy, you are showing a more direct connection to the viewer and can show that you are up to date.
