Top Five Things Your Housekeeping Brochure Should Include

A brochure is a company’s resume. It is the entirety of your organization put to paper. Which is why you need to make sure that your brochure represents you perfectly. For a cleaning and housekeeping company, potential customers looking for a service are likely to be handed your brochure along with a few others, to see which fits them best. In such cases, the brochure which answers all their questions and leaves no vagueness is more likely to make the cut. For a unique look, make your own brochure. It’s a simple process, especially when you have a comprehensive template you can use as a baseline.

On that note, here are five things to include in your housekeeping brochure template:

1. Clean Design

As a housekeeping company, it is your job to leave no mess, and that includes your brochure. The logo and name should be front and center without being overwhelming. And remember, you don’t need to mention that the flyer is a brochure. Let its content speak for itself. Your company’s colour palate is important and will dictate the look of the brochure. If your company colours are on the gaudier side, use them as highlights on a white or otherwise neutral background. 2. Introduction and Values

This is especially important for locally based businesses, where the shared history a company has with its customers is as important as its services. For larger companies, you can mention your roots and how the company grew to what it is today, but be succinct about it. Next, you should mention the values your company deems important. On a six-sided template, you can use a whole page, but make sure not to include too much text.

3. Services and Technology

Now let’s get to the actual services. If you’re a small business with a limited amount of services, list them all individually. For a more extensive portfolio, group the services. Next, mention any packages you offer (spring cleaning, wedding package, etc.). if applicable, also mention that you offer room specific packages for maximum clarity. If you use any premium technology, make sure to describe it. You can include the brand name to benefit from its brand equity. If your employees have any training certifications, e.g. operating new tech, make sure to include it in this section. This should be your longest section, taking up at least one and a half side on a four-sided brochure.

4. Satisfied Customers

Next up is the self-congratulatory section. Find the best worded feedback you’ve received in the last three years and include them. They don’t have to be very long; in fact, it’s better if they aren’t. Longer feed backs will have to be cut down to fit in the brochure, which doesn't always look natural. Also mention any accolades you won or were nominated for. Don't go overboard in this section. You may have received a lot of appreciation, but don’t include more than three reviews.

5. Contact Details

Now that you have impressed your potential customers, they need to know how to get in touch with you. Also mention your physical address, though this is more important for local businesses.
